These are so great for getting things out of the toaster! My 6 year old loves making her own breakfast so these have been really helpful for her. The magnet doesn't work on my specific toaster, but it is probably a nice feature for other toasters.We originally got a similar item from Crate and Barrel, it was shorter than these and less sturdy. My husband actually broke the Crate and Barrel one which is why we bought these.

They work as intended. The magnet is not very strong and barely holds the tongs. They are a bit rough in texture.
Early into my possession, I can nonetheless give these tongs a strong vote of confidence. I'm 73 with arthritis in my hands but these tongs make it easy to retrieve things from toaster, grab olives or pickle slices from a jar; slippers baby beats are no challenge! Turning bacon or slices of SPAM is a snap!The bamboo construction is good quality and I'm confident that the tongs will be long lasting. The magnets are, I assume, that strong neodymium metal and the tongs cling to my 'fridge very nicely, even on the doors!I liked the things so well that the current purchase is my second pair~ I wanted "backup" pair while they are still available.Benefit-to-cost factor is great and I can easily recommend purchasing these!
Flimsy and not very helpful. Starting to break already and they don’t really spring back or open wide enough. Magnet could be stronger.
I bought these because I got tired of getting burned when I took English muffins, bagels, or even toast out of the toaster! I like these a lot because they have a magnetic back. I don’t leave it on the toaster because they’re kind of large but I do hang them right on the refrigerator next to the toaster Very convenient and they work perfect
These are great. Too bad our toaster is plastic, not magnetic. Otherwise fine.
