Finally, a seal that fits. My tumbler was made for the company I worked so I had no idea what 'name' it was. Bought seals from another supplier on Amazon and they were very slightly too large. Could not get lid into tumbler.These seals FIT!! 5 stars for sure.
The original gasket got nicked up after a couple years of use. Removing them can be hard but it’s the only way to properly clean them. They will develop black slimy gunk after sitting with any drink left in them after a while and can make you sick. It’s great to have several replacements so I can make sure they are well sealed and clean every day. It can be tricky getting the right size but I think there are only 2 or 3 sizes made.
I bought this to replace the gasket in my cheap Mainstays 20oz stainless steel tumbler from wally world. I wasn't sure if it was going to fit correctly, but i think this makes a better seal than the original gasket that came with the cup. It was easy to put on and passed my initial leak test. Highly recommend!
I was able install the new seal on my CamelBak Horizon 12 oz Tumbler. It's a snug fit, but seems to be working very well. I'll give a 4/5 for now. If holds up for repeated usage, then 5/5. The seal that came with the cups has lasted 1 1/2 years. It still was working but was starting to get brittle. These gaskets have the right circumference (7.1 cm ID and 7.8 cm OD) but they are too thick (0.5 cm). When put on my Mira Quest 16 oz mug, they work only if you crank down the lid really tight. Otherwise it will leak. The cross section of this ring is very different than that of the Quest. I recommend you look for a thinner ring. At this time, the gaskets at Mira are sold out. This is a good product - Three stars only because my Mira Quest wasn't listed with the models that they do not fit.
The gasket of my Chill Out commuter cup became a bit loose and too stained and gritty to be fully cleaned. A small thing, but very annoying. The maker's customer service rep recommended these replacement gaskets. I can't understand why Chill Out doesn't just use these gaskets for their products, as they are much better than the original one that came with my cup! I called back to tell them as much.
I bought these to use on a TAL brand insulated cup. This does not allow the lid to secure to the cup very well. It pops it off to easily. Easy to loose your drink on yourself.
