I work in a dirty environment and I love coffee. Up until I found these things I couldn't put those two things together. It keeps dust and flies out of my coffee. When my coffee's really hot, it creates a suction with the pad on top of it. The wind can't blow it off. Enough of them arrived in the package that I could give them to work friends. We all use them.
We love them everyone asks us at restaurants where we got them. They keep our coffee hot and bugs out of our wine!
These are great for sitting outside and not worrying about bugs getting in your drinks. Cute umbrella design. There are two different sizes included to accommodate larger drinking glasses.
They really do help to keep my coffee stay hot. They are wide enough for any mug or glass that I’ve ever used. Easy to rinse off if needed. Once on a mug, if you press lightly in the center the lid creates a suction to the rim…releases by just lift in an edge but really seals in the heat or in summer to cold to your beverage.If you are a tea drinker - there is one drawback. The lid can not create a suction to your mug/cup rim if the teabag string is hanging out over the rim. I’ve just been cutting it short and letting it fall into my mug. Since i use a spoon to remove it - string or no string- then it seals while it steeps ! Win win for me.One of the 6 lids was defective….while being molded it was off center so it would not seal or sit properly on my mug rim…..I did not return or complain as I still had 5 lids. I would purchase again for a gift.
I love these lid covers. They keep my tea and coffee hot for longer, and the sleek color options—brown, black, and white—add a touch of elegance to my kitchen. They look a bit like umbrellas and a bit like round bat wings. I bought black ones (hence the bat similarity) and have used them several times so far. They are soft and flexible. They are great for keeping bugs out of drinks on the patio or lawn. They also prevent the drinks from attracting pests such as wasps and flies, and because they have a suction fit, they help prevent spills when carrying the drink. The suction is not strong, but good enough for the function. They are easy to take off and put back on.
They stank (not the kind of odor that tends to dissipate with a little fresh airing out). They were poorly made. I bought another brand in this style years ago and still use those, love them- but they are not anywhere to be found anymore.The little nubbin on top was aiming oddly in random directions, not straight up like they should be.They were just crappy presentation and I sent them back.
