Beautiful, sharp, and top quality!
The product arrived in an elegant looking box, where the knife is nicely packaged with a plastic wrap, and the tip is protected by a hard-plastic glove. Upon the first sight, I am highly impressed by the design and aesthetics. The pattern on the knife reminds me of famous Damascus steel, understandably it is not, nevertheless it is beautiful! The weight of the knife is very well balanced while holding it, even though it's longer than regular chef's knife but I don't feel harder to maneuver, in fact it's quite effective for chopping and cutting large vegetables. The long edge ensures it works well any sizes of food in my kitchen, and it's super sharp while the material seems to be quite sturdy. For a while I don't think it needs a resharpening. The wooden handle is as beautiful as the knife itself, it's smooth and easy to grip. Overall, I think the quality is top-notch, the craftmanship is unparalleled, it's a premium addition as a primary knife in the kitchen, and I strongly recommend this knife to people who are looking for the top quality cutlery at affordable price.

GOOD LOOKING GREAT PERFORMING
Comes nicely boxed and presented so that it could be sent off to someone as a gift. I was almost tempted to gift this to my friend who has been letting me stay in her guest apartment while my Adirondack cabin is shut up over the cold winter months. But the kitchen is lacking a great carving knife so I needed to put it to use! This knife is the longest I have ever used and at first it felt awkward using it. My first attempt was trying to get super thin slices of breast meat off of a turkey I had roasted. It wasn’t until I started on the other side that I was able to get them as thin as I like them to be. The curved tip was helpful in getting in around the bone and knuckle parts. I like thin slices when eating meats hot and super thin slices when slicing it to be eaten cold. As I became more accustomed to the feel of this knife, I have been able to accomplish this. One very impressive aspect of this knife for me is the ease that it slices thru “fresh” tomatoes! I have found that unless the tomatoes are freshly picked, the only knife that slices thru the skin nicely is my long serrated knife! The blade is very thin and sharp. So this knife can cut👍👍I have little knowledge about the technical things to look for in a quality knife so I am going by how it performs and what I see. The knife has a nicely patterned blade and wood handle. After several weeks of use, it is getting easy to handle and feels comfortable holding with my medium to small size female hand. It has a a usable weight to it, not heavy that will tire my hand and arm if I’m doing a big slicing job.I pleased with both the looks and performance of this knife and I do recommend it.

Beautiful and large carver
Wow! This is an impressive carver. It’s no secret that home chefs love well made knives. In fact, we thrive on trying out knives and finding our favorites to use. So I jumped at the chance to try this one out. This is a large carver. It’s not a blade I’d use every day, but for when I’m baking whole chickens or a leg of lamb, this bad boy is going to slice through them like butter. The blade is wicked sharp. Be careful when you handle it, as the only guard it comes with is the tiny tip guard auntie don’t poke yourself! The blade is also beautifully etched; similar to more expensive Japanese knives, although this one is made in China. The handle is beautifully crafted from sustainable wood. The rivets are well placed and flush. There is no wobble. And the wood is smooth and grips well. The knife is well balanced. The handle and the length of the blade might make this a challenge in some cases, but they got it just about right here.It does come with a very nice presentation case and a warranty card. So if you wanted to gift this to someone for a wedding or housewarming gift, it is perfect. The one thing to consider when you have a small kitchen without a large area to store your knives: a magnetic knife strip might be the best to hold this guy. My knife board is probably too small to hold this up so I’ll be using drawer storage. Since it’s not an every day knife, that’s doesn’t bother me, but if you plan to use this on a daily basis, because if it’s size and weight, you’ll need a way to house the knife without dulling its blade. All in all, it’s think this knife is an extremely good deal and you should enjoy using it for years to come.

Sharp and Large!
I don't have a huge kitchen, so I tend to stick mostly to average sized chef knives, but I ordered this larger knife out of curiosity. And it definitely is larger! At a full foot in length (17 inches with the handle), the knife is clearly designed for larger carving jobs, like carving whole poultry or large cuts of beef or ham. The blade is straight, strong, and has beautiful tempered designs across the metal. It's also quite sturdy and has surprisingly strong resistance to horizontal bending, considering how long it is. This means it's more likely to function in predictable ways when making deeper slices or dealing with things like bones. The handle seemed a bit unremarkable at first, as I originally thought it might be plastic, but it is just very smooth pakkawood (hardwood and resin). It's nice and heavy and seems to have the metal of the blade throughout its core, meaning it's definitely not going anywhere. The knife comes in a nice dark box with magnetic closure, making for a really nice gift presentation. It's protected by a plastic sheathe, as well as lots of foam padding to ensure it stays pristine until opened.Overall, this is simply a good quality knife, appropriately priced, and I'd imagine the same could be said for the manufacturer's similar products. Easy to recommend!
