Fantastic Knife!

Okay, I never write a review the day I receive something from Amazon. That changes today. I received my Paudin 5” Santoku knife today and am blown away. It is hands down the sharpest knife I’ve ever used out of the sheath. I am not a chef but have been cooking since the late 1980s when I did my culinary rotation at Johnson & Wales Univ. The knife is superbly balanced sharp as a razor and a dream to use. I spent the afternoon prepping veggies and herbs for a pot of corn chowder I was making. It went through onions and potatoes like butter. This little beast is amazing. If your looking for a great knife to do your prep work and want something a little smaller than your typical 8” Chef knife this 5” Santoku it the ticket, great knife, great quality and great price!

Great little knife out of the box

The knife arrived promptly and in a great package. This wasn't bought as a gift, but it's a great presentation if it had been. So far I am very pleased with the quality of it. Only time will tell how good the long-term life of this knife will be, but right ght now I have no doubts that it will last a while with proper care. The blade is sharp and the handle is very comfortable. The size makes it very easy to handle for most daily tasks and I am very happy with my purchase. Definitely worth the money so far.
