Super high quality saucepan and outstanding value!

This is a very high quality saucepan that has great features like the pouring spout and a very well made lid with vents that you can position at the pouring spout to vent more or away from it to vent less.The saucepan cooks evenly across the surface and the finish of the surface is every bit as nice as my All Clad cookware only with a vastly better handle. I will never buy All Clad again because their handles are uncomfortably dangerous to use whereas this one feels great and secure in the hand.Additionally, compared to other Chinese made stainless steel pots and pans, this one cleans up very nicely after cooking. Does it look perfectly new with regular cleaning? No. No stainless steel cookware does, but it looks and feels nice enough that I don't have to use barkeeper's friend or other similar products to polish it smooth.Out of all the expensive and cheap and mid-grade stainless steel pots and pans I've bought from Amazon, this one is my favorite based on the overall quality, the features, usability, and value. It is a steal at $40. It is every bit as good or better than All Clad, Made In, and all the other expnsive brands only for 1/3 of the price.

Love it!

So far this pot has been perfect. It has correct internal measurements marked, has a high quality, can go in the oven as well, has strainer holes that have worked well when cooking pasta, and the pour spout has worked nicely for making French press tea or coffee. I wish more brands had products like this.I don't love the way the logo looks on the lid, but it's much better than all across the handle. Overall it has a really nice appearance and is easy to use. It heats up quickly and we've had good luck cooking rice in it. It cleans up easily, much easier than many "non stick" pots or pans we've had in the past. So that is nice!

Terrific Straining Pot!

Love this pot! Wonderful to be able to drain water directly from the pot rather than use a strainer. The openings/strainer holes make is so simple to get all the water out. I was surprised that it was a fairly heavy pot but definitely manageable. I am going to buy another one for a friend's birthday!

Heavy metal and good heat distribution; some extra cleaning required

The pan is good quality, heavy metal and heats evenly. The lid, while clever in its intended use for draining liquids from vegetables, can catch fragments of whatever you're cooking under the edge of the glass cover which are difficult to remove. Some come out with the prod of a small paring knife; some don't. If you boil lots of vegetables, it's probably worth the trouble, but be prepared for a little extra cleaning.
