Cute Cake Stand
I really like the look of this cake stand. It's simple and will fit with most styles. The size is nice for cakes. I've used it for a double layer 8-inch cake and it fit great. I also used it for muffins and it fit 8 of them and I was able to stack the other 4 on top with the lid fitting on just fine.A few cons that aren't huge deals, but are worth mentioning. The value seems a bit off for me because of these things. The glass feels pretty thin so make sure to be careful with it. It also has some imperfections such as a small little bump on the bottom rim so that it doesn't sit exactly flat on the base, and sometimes depending on the positioning of the lid and the lighting it looks like the top of the lid is a little lopsided. The wooden base has some imperfections/scratches and the groove where the lid sits feels/looks unfinished.Overall I'm happy with it and it'll get a lot of use.

Nice looking cake plate. Clean, rustic look. Would make a great gift for house-warming or perhaps a wedding gift. I bought some sweet bread and placed it on top of a piece of parchment paper to keep things a bit neat. This cake stand isn't air tight so I am unsure how long it will keep my sweetbread soft. The glass feels a bit thin to me and I would have preferred a bit more thickness and weight. The wood is beautiful and natural. Definitely, a versatile cake plate for parties and temporary uses. I wouldn't leave it out on my counter, I'd store it and use it on occasion for displaying delicious cake or other desserts.

I love this cake stand. First of all its such a refreshing take on the typical raised ones that are not convenient to travel with. I appreciate that i can fit a full-sized cake in here, cover it up and with a small piece of tape transport it with no problems. the glass dome is surprisingly light, almost like a tempered glass feel? It looks absolutely beautiful and has so many uses, store desserts or appetizers and keep covered until ready to eat. The quality is great, I've used it multiple times and it's both functional and beautiful at the same time. The price is fair considering you get a dome top to cover things up.

Beautiful & simple
I'm a sucker for cake domes! Really any kind of food dome! This one is great. I don't like putting cakes with frosting under it; I don't think it's quite tall enough for that. But it is great for stacking pastries and cookies under it. Since it is wood, and a beautiful oiled wood at that, don't put any moist baked goods on it directly. You'll always want to have parchment or something, separating it from food.I think this is beautiful. I rotate it with my other domes to have treats sitting on the counter for family and guests. I especially like that the base has a groove in the wood that seats the glass dome. There's no question about putting the lid back on correctly. There's only one place that'll fit!It's a little on the expensive side. Especially since it doesn't list what kind of wood it is, what it is stained or sealed with, and where it is made. That raises some food safety questions in my head. It's another reason you should always separate food from the wood with parchment. I'm sure it's fine, but I would like to know those specifics, and they were nowhere to be found on the listing.But it's a beautiful wood base and a delicate and well crafted lid, so I'm mostly pleased.
