Super cute butter bell that’s both practical and gift-worthy
I love butter bells and think they’re honestly underrated—every kitchen should have one. They’re such a simple, practical way to keep butter spreadable, and once you use one, it’s hard to go back.I had dropped and broken my old one a while back and hadn’t replaced it yet, so it was nice when this showed up in Vine. This one is super cute, and the linen white color looks great on the counter. It feels well made and works exactly as a butter bell should.I like the added details, like the handle and the included knife, which make it feel a bit more complete and thoughtful as a set. It’s functional but also decorative enough to leave out all the time.Overall, this is a really nice butter crock that does its job well and looks good doing it. It would also make a cute and useful gift, especially for anyone who enjoys cooking or spending time in the kitchen.

Cute little butter bell
This replaced the plastic, flip top butter dish I was using. This should be so much easier to clean! Luckily, I already had a stick of butter in the plastic dish, so I had butter that was already softened and ready to put in this new crock.I love how cute this thing is! I immediately liked it when I pulled it out of the box! Unfortunately, I was nearly unable to use it. There was a sheet of packing material in the crock that kept the two pieces stuck together. It took a lot of twisting and maneuvering to finally get the material out of the crock so that I could separate the lid from the crock! In fact, I nearly gave up a couple of times in fear that I was going to break it!Nonetheless, I got the packing material out and was ready to use my adorable new butter crock. I cleaned it and then happily squished my butter into the lid, added water to the handily marked line, and plopped the knife into the handle that is cleverly slotted for the purpose. I haven’t used the angel tag for it yet. Hopefully, I just remember to change out the water. LolMy plastic dish was good enough for keeping butter soft and spreadable but it didn’t have water to help keep butter fresh. Not that that ever bothered me; I always used butter until it was gone anyway. I use it quickly enough that it’s never had time to go rancid. Still, this crock will help keep it even fresher.Cleaning this one will take more time, as I was able to leave the wrapper on the stick of butter into my plastic dish, while this one requires you to smoosh butter into it. The folding top on the plastic one made it a bit of a pain to clean, so the removable parts may actually make this one easier. We’ll see. Either way, it’s going to be easy enough to clean, so it isn’t a big deal.My plastic butter dish has served me well over the years but it was time for a cute and better quality upgrade. This little ceramic butter crock looks so cute on my kitchen island!

So Nice!
I have seen these butter crocks the past few years. We are a big butter fans in our house as we only use natural fats in cooking. This butter bell is great quality and looks very lovely with its shiny porcelain finish. It holds a LOT of butter and is the perfect blend of beauty and functionality. It’s very very easy to clean, just add hot water and it cleans out nicely. I like that it comes with the little butter spreader as well.Overall I recommend this butter crock for the value for the money, as well as the overall aesthetic of the crock!

Cute Farmhouse Butter Crock — Takes Some Getting Used To
I’ve always wanted one of these butter crocks, and while I do like it, I’m still figuring out how I feel about it overall. One thing I noticed right away is that when you take butter straight out of the refrigerator, it’s a bit difficult to press the stick down into the crock easily. That said, once it sits out on the counter for a while, the butter becomes very soft and spreads nicely. The butter knife works well for getting butter out, although it does get messy and needs to be cleaned each time. I may switch to using a spoon or another knife instead. We go through about a stick of butter every other day, so ours won’t be sitting in the crock for very long. I do like the ceramic date tag it comes with, but I was a little confused that it doesn’t include a ceramic pen to write on it.Visually, I love it. It has a great farmhouse look and feels well made. That said, I do want to note that not all butter is safe to leave out at room temperature. I did my research and chose Land O Lakes salted butter, but I definitely recommend researching which butter works best before using a crock like this.Overall, this is a really cute and solidly made piece. It can be a bit messy, and I think there’s a learning curve if you’re new to using a butter crock, but I plan to keep using it and see how I like it over time.

It’s always the little details
The ceramic is durable and nicely weighted, not thin or fragile like others I’ve owned in the past. The neutral color blends perfectly with any kitchen décor and looks clean and elegant on the counter.I really appreciate the built-in waterline, which takes the guesswork out of knowing exactly how much water to add. The knife holder is another standout feature, it’s very secure and cleverly doubles as a handle, making it easy and comfortable to pick up.A nice bonus is the little conversion card included, which is actually very handy. And my favorite detail has to be the adorable ceramic angel piece used to write the date you added the water or the date when you need to replace it
