The etched initial looks clean and sharp, and it appears to be true acid etching rather than a decal, so it should hold up well over time without fading or peeling.It arrived securely packaged with plenty of padding, so there was no risk of damage during shipping. The gift box is also a nice bonus — it looks great for gifting and can even be reused for storing small items like coffee beans or accessories. Although, unfortunately for me I could not get the glass out without cutting off the bottom of the box. The glass is easy to hold, easy to clean, and dishwasher safe, which makes it convenient for daily use. It also hand-washes easily and doesn’t hold onto smudges or stains. It is a very nice glass if you enjoy a good whisky every now and again. Fits well in the hand and is not overly heavy as some such glasses can be. The design is not etched on so I handwash mine. The design is simple and not gaudy. Some designs look so cheesy but not this one. I like the size, I like the weight and it does what you expect it to do--hold your whisky without dripping. It comes in a great rounded box which will make for an impressive gift.

It’s a simple and well-rounded glass that is okay for whiskey on the rocks or other mixed drink.The packaging held the glass nicely, not too snug and yet no wiggle room to risk breaking during shipping.The etching is okay but it’s not elegant enough to replace a quality double old fashioned glass.
