The cutter is not very sharp, but the peel is awesome

I needed a peel big enough for slicing an Aldi 16-inch pizza after pulling it off the grill. I like that this one has the cutting lines, and the handle makes it easier to bring it inside to rest before cutting. The rocker cutter, which I thought I would love, is really not very sharp; that, or I just haven’t gotten the hang of it yet. I wound up using our wheel pizza cutter the first few times I used the peel. I could probably sharpen the blade, but I just found it easier to use what I already had.

I thought this was an extremely high priced pizza cutter but figured that was a good reason to order it and leave a review. I am impressed. This is a very solid, smooth, beautiful acacia wood. It is very solid but light enough to be easy to hold one handed. The pizza lines are deep enough to be a perfect guide for good sized and even slices. The slicer is long & sharp, making cutting pizza easy and fast.

Board is fine but cutter not so much due to the deep rust on the blade.

The board was fine but the cutter has a deep rust mark on the back that is showing on the front as a dot. Cleaned as well as I could but it is strange that there is rust on stainless steel. Also, the board is not a light wood color as shown but a dark brown color.
