Just used this for the first time, and what a time saver. Start to finish, it took about 45 seconds to eviscerate the pineapple! Nice, uniform, bite-size slices and so easy to use. If you enjoy fresh fruit, this is the way to go!

Love it! Amazingly easy to use . At first I was skeptical but once we used it we just loved it. No more mess when wanting to eat a pineapple.
The design of this pineapple slicer is great. It works well, and even comes with a plate thing to cover the bottom, so it stands up, and you won’t poke yourself when grabbing for it in your over-crowded gadget cabinet (or is that just a problem for ME?!). It comes apart, and is dishwasher safe. My only complaint is that the slices are really thin. I was hoping to use this to cut pineapple for fruit salads, but the pieces will be too thin for something like that. But in a bowl of cottage cheese, the pieces are PERFECT (and SO yummy!). So it just depends on what you want to do with your pineapple after you cut it… I do still recommend it.
Great tool that worked perfectly. My only comment would be that you might need two people to use it unless you're a very strong person. My husband held the pineapple down, as I turned the tool, then again to pull the fruit out of the shell.
I received one as a gift and it is the most practical present as I love pineapples! It is easy to use and only takes a few minutes to get evenly sliced pineapple pieces. Great for serving at parties! I have purchased more and given them as presents!
Quality seems to be good. I have used this a dozen times since purchasing and it works great every time. This device is very easy to use. It cores and then slices the pineapple. Makes nice sized rings to store and eat. I have found that I like it better to cut the rings in half, while still on the corer to make removing and storing them much easier.The only drawback is that it is not easy to keep the device straight when coring, so occasionally, some of the core will get on your slices. Not a huge deal and not sure of any way to prevent that.Overall, a great tool to help me eat more fruit and save money over the pre-cut pineapple in the grocery store.
