This pizza dough docker is amazing! I used it at a pizza place, and it worked perfectly to keep the bubbles in the pizza dough under control. Well made and feels substantial. Not light weight. Does exactly what it is supposed to do. The cleaning brush is a nice addition.
This works really well, but I'm worried about the black plastic handle and the recent news of contaminated black plastic items in homes. It's attached with a screw, so I'm going to try find a different handle attachment. Light pressure seems to work best with this!
As someone who is newer to making homemade pizzas, I found the need to have a dotter - was using a fork before. This dotter is very easy to use, you just roll *carefully* over the pizza dough. Easy to hold, and is decently weighted so you don’t need much pressure. Put it in the dishwasher to clean, or just hand wash- both work well.
I started making my own pizza crusts and this tool works great! There are still some air bubbles in the crust, but nothing like what I was seeing without using this. For anyone making their own crusts at home and are wanting to use a different tool besides a fork to lessen the amount of air bubbles, I'd highly recommend purchasing this, as it is well worth the price.
Great item for pizza dough. We homemade pizza dough often and this is very easy to use. Before I just used a fork and that was tedious.
