No more thump, thump with the fork to make holes in my cracker dough..phew! Just a roll. And just hand wash after use. Seems my can opener could rust if I leave it in the sink, so don’t leave this one in water either. As long as it doesn’t have lead in it. like the can opener, seems slightly cheaper metal. The handle and overall construction is solid. So glad I found this- didn’t know they existed, till I did a search because of tired of thumping the fork all over. Wash and shake out, put aside to air dry and you’ll be good.

Great for Pizza but also for making Crackers

The docker doesn't need to be pressed with very much force when using. Gently glide the docker across the dough you want to be aerated. Dough will not stick to the docker, if the dough isn't too wet. When the dough is of proper consistency, it releases quickly. I have made both pizza and crackers using this docker and am very pleased with the results. This docker costs more than the plastic versions on the market, but it is sturdy and the tines will not break off.
