So, I still need to get a proper pizza stone but I am extremely glad to finally have a good peel. And this is a very good peel. The construction is almost identical to ones I've used in professional settings, except with the neat little benefit that it can be folded. It's not easy to fold, mind, the handle has to be entirely unscrewed and then rescrewed into the storage position, but that's still nice to have in a small kitchen. It takes less than a minute to disassemble and reassemble the peel.The rocking pizza cutter is fantastic. very easy for cutting a 12" pie tidily into slices just like at a restaurant. It's stainless steel and wipes clean after use, so good on it for that. Similar to the peel it's a little finicky to store, the blade guard a trick to get on, but once you've got it down it's quite simple to do.Overall, magnificent for anyone who makes homemade pizza.

Sturdy pizza peel, solid feel
I'm very pleased with this pizza peel and pizza cutter , actually more so than I was expecting.The pizza cutter works well and has a comfortable grip as well as the blade cover for storage. I probably wouldn't have added the holes in the blade cover as you have to be careful not to have your fingers in them when you're putting it back on the cutter.The pizza peel is a good design and is stiff enough to work well. Having the handle be able to fold is nice for storage, although I will probably just leave it in the extended position most of the time. This is partly because in order to fold it you have to unscrew the bolt assembly enough to get the retaining pin out of the sheet metal to spin the handle. This makes it a little cumbersome but at the same time makes it very sturdy when you're using it versus a quick action folding design.I suspect most people would be quite happy with this pizza peel and cutter. They work well and overall made well.

WOW! I can't believe how solidly built this thing is
When I ordered this aluminium pizza shovel, I was a little concerned because the heading of the description says it's an aluminium pizza shovel. But, I've got to tell you that this baby is made to last. It's actually made of stainless steel with a very sturdy wood handle and a very heavy-duty screw assembly. The handle is stored on top of the paddle, and it won't move on you because you screw it in. When you're ready to use the pizza shovel, just unscrew the handle and reposition it, screw it in place, and you're ready to go. It comes with a pizza cutter that is also made of stainless steel with a plastic guard. I plan on using this baby for making LOTS of pizzas, I can't wait. I would recommend it, worth the price. FYI: There is a plastic film on each side of the paddle when you receive it, just make sure to remove it BEFORE using. I've taken some photos of peeling the film off to show you the blue film to remove from each side.
