I like that this rack has some tall and some short racks, and the racks are close enough to spread an item to dry over two racks if I need to spread it out. It’s stable and is also a good size. It’s big enough to dry several items at once, or hold reusable bags open, but it doesn’t take up too much counter space.
Helps in drying vacuum bags to dry out after using the bag for food storage. Eliminating the need of using disposable bags. Recommended!
I needed a replacement drying rack since I hand wash our water bottles and coffee travel mugs. My previous one was plastic, opened in accordian fashion, and lasted several years. However, it wasn't the most stable. This one was costlier but looked more stable.So far, so good. It's easy to assemble and definitely more stable than my previous one. It holds very wide bottles (like Nalgene and Yeti) but these need to be on every other hump. This makes sense, of course, since that's not really the primary selling feature (bags & gloves are). This is not a problem for me as we don't often need to use ALL of the capacity at a given time.The short humps are also great for our coffee mugs that never fully dry in the dishwasher. I simply hang them there for a few hours after unloading. Overall very functional; I recommend.
I bought two, one to dry the plastic bags I wash and reuse, and the other with the hopes it would help organize the jumble of lids for my pots and pans. The rack is easy to assemble and pretty sturdy. As for drying the baggies, it holds them well and they dry quickly but the rack takes up quite a bit of counter space. When not in use, it needs to be taken apart and stored then reassembled for the next use. I keep wishing it was collapsible. As for the lids, the rack is a game changer! All the lids nest perfectly and are easy to grab and to put away, and it takes up less space than the lids did just loose. It would be a definite 5-star rating if it folded or collapsed.
Product is as stated, a little bigger than I thought but that's ok. It does what it's suppose to allowing my storage bags to dry which is what I bought it for. Will recommend this product to others.
Works very well just what I needed for these reusable vacuum bags!!
Good idea for hanging reusable bags to dry after washing but if you hang a bag to dry on one of the slats it falls over eliminating the ability for bags to dry. Bags can be draped over several hangers for better results but less room if you have more than three bags.
