This is a handy cake plate carrier. It comes with a plastic cake knife. The carrier itself can be used on one side for a cake or flip the tray inside over for cupcakes. The plastic is a thicker sturdy plastic so it feels solid and sturdy when you carry it. The handles snap in place when you lock the container for carrying. It seems to be a good seal when closed to keep the cake fresh. I like this carrier but I only gave it 4 stars because I feel the holes for the cupcakes could have been slightly larger. Some of my cupcakes were not completely flat in the circle because it was not big enough. I also like the large handle for carrying.

Cheaply made but an ok option for transporting baked goods

It does the job but it feels cheap. The handle on my carrier feels like it's going to pop out or break when I change it from the storage to the upright position.I do like that the bottom tray is reversible for cakes or cupcakes. I feel like I typically need to bring more than 12 cupcakes if I'm bringing cupcakes anywhere but this is still a decent way to transport baked goods. It's not bad but the price feels a little high for the quality of the product
