Definitely recommend for buttercream

Didn’t really like it, but it was amazing, just me personally don’t recommend for whipped cream. Like the quality and everything was perfect, the sizes were perfect. It was very sturdy.

Sturdy plates but small

These sturdy plates are thick enough to support a heavy cake and fit well with the supplied support rods. There are only three pegs for support rods, but there’s nothing preventing you from using additional supports. The hole in the center of each plate is perfect for being able to dowel the whole way through a multitiered cake for added stability. The supports were easy to cut with a pair of scissors. The plates are intended to be one size smaller than the tier above so they don’t show but I’m more accustomed to using a plate the same diameter as the tier above. I ended up also adding a cardboard plate under each tier. I found these easy to assemble. This system provides a stable structure. I traveled with the cake stacked with no issues.

Sturdy and offered great stability for our heavy wedding cake. 4 double layered, filled cakes, 6,8,10 & 12 “ layers used on sturdy marble slab chilled bottom plate. Very easy to assemble. Had enough left over parts to create a beautiful smaller rehearsal dinner cake as well.

Sturdy and Supportive

I am by no means a professional cake decorator. I make cakes for family and social occasions. I was looking for something to give layered cakes support and make them easier to transport. This kit has everything you need for supporting and layering a decorated cake. I gave it 4 stars because there aren't directions on how to use the supports. I you tubed cake decorating videos to figure out how to use the various supports. I would recommend this kit.

Strong Durable Reusable

Have used these a few times and they work so very well. Very durable, strong and reusable if you can scope them up before they are tossed. SAVE THEM IF YOU CAN!! They are not cheap nor cheaply made. Wish they offered the larger 3 sizes in their own pack because I have not had a need for the smaller two bases. Assembly is good unless your cake is heavy and tiered, then you might want some help if you have it.
