Got this set to complement my sage-themed kitchen, and I’ve really enjoyed the purchase. I originally chose it for the aesthetics, but it has delivered much more. The plates are quite heavy and sturdy, which shows they’re not as cheap as I initially expected. And the color is just perfect for what I had in mind.
These are nice heavy duty stoneware dish set. These do have a modern look. They stack nicely in the cabinet. The plates have a small lip on the edge, perfect for my kids. (Keeping food on plate). These did not scratch when cutting food on them. The bowl is a nice size. The mug is not to big, These came well packed.
First things first, the colors in the photos are a bit lighter than they are in person.When I pulled these out of the box, they were a deep medium blue.These are the best stoneware sets I've had so far. The biggest thing for me was how flat they are. They sit flat on the table. This means you don't have to worry about cutting something on the plate too close to the edge and having the opposite side lifting up. Another feature of being flat like this, instant, quick cutting board. When you need to slice something up quickly, these serve in a pinch.I am so thrilled with everything as far as quality and durability goes so far. The only minor quibble I have is the mugs. They seem to be on the smaller side as far as capacity goes. It seems like my coffee disappears quicker when I use these mugs compared to my other coffee mugs. If that might be an issue for you, they sell the same set without mugs and at a cheaper price too.At any rate, this is a great set and I actually grabbed the no mug set so I have a total of 8 settings. Couldn't be any happier!
Amazing set of dishware. The color is more of a matte white and looks fantastic. The plates and bowls stack perfectly. The lip on the plates keeps food from falling over the edge. The bowl is an interesting shape but I LOVE it! Each dish is sturdy, strong and durable. They don’t weight much but you can tell they are quality made.
This plate and bowl set is so beautiful. The color matches the picture exactly. They're super easy to wash and have no doubt they would be fine in a dish washer too. They're thick and durable against a 2 year old (with supervision). Overall, the quality is really great and these are worth the money, and make a nice addition to any home.
These are nice quality dishes, good heavy stoneware. I don't plan to use them for everyday dinnerware, but as my special-occasion dishes.Their styling is interesting. It's hard to know what style to name it. But that's a good thing, in my opinion, because it means these dishes are incredibly versatile!At first glance, they seem extremely sleek and modern, at home with black enamel and orchids. But really, they take on the character of whatever surrounds them. They feel equally comfortable with boho, modern farmhouse, or seasonal linens. That's why I ordered these dishes in white, so they will look great with the warm oranges and russets of autumn, the cheery red or green at Christmas, pastels at a Easter, etc.I really like the matte finish, too.I'm not sure I'll be using the mugs at a meal, but they're going to be great for decorating with custom vinyl.There's one downside of these dishes, and that is that they are definitely not space-saving! They stack nicely, but don't nest. The cabinet in my last photo used to store significantly more plates in the same amount of space (two sets are shown in that photo).
