A nice black color, these allowed my son to plate better than ever before with a rich variety of shapes available among the ten or so tools at hand. Impressive! They look good and work great.

This kit has been great as I have gotten more into molecular gastronomy. The tools look great and their quality is better than I expected. Each piece has weight to it and the coloring has been extremely durable. I haven't put any of them in the dishwasher so I can't speak to that, but I can say that they have held up quite well to the way I have used and abused them. This kit would be a great gift for someone who wants to take their home cooking to the next level.
