Polycarbonate mold

Can’t wait to use again. make sure to put them in your freezer to release, i don’t think i made the shell thick enough to properly release. you want it to be thin but not too thin..

Perfect size

This product makes a wonderful two bite sized bon bon. The mold was easy to fill and worked perfectly to produce filled chocolate bon bons. The mold released the chocolate without issues. It was just a little more work to clean into the cavities after use, but nothing too strenuous. I'm going to repurchase to make production pieces.

Well made, but small bonbons

The mold is well made and sturdy. Your chocolates should pop out if you tempered correctly. The only reason I'm taking a star is because the cavities are very small. The chocolates are tiny. Including a side by side pic one one of my usual truffles for comparison. You won't get a lot of filling unless your shells are very thin.

Best mold for chocolates.

These hard food grade plastic molds are much better than the flexible silicone ones. Much easier to make thin shells and fill with fondant than flexible silicone molds. I have both types. I don't use the silicone ones any more. Check out YouTube to see how to fill, invert, and scrape excess with a stainless bench scraper. Easy.
