Polycarbonate molds leave chocolate shiny
I am a hobbyist chocolatier, in that I am not skilled enough in the art of chocolate work to sell my products, but I do enjoy sharing my chocolates with friends and family, and eating it myself, of course! However, I suppose I have worked with chocolate enough to know that I prefer polycarbonate molds like this one over silicone molds, mainly because I feel like the finished products have a much higher sheen to them, which makes the chocolate look more professional and attractive to me.I have found that my chocolate unmolds with ease from this mold, and it is so easy to wash and dry (I handwash; I don't want to chance my molds melting in the dishwasher). I hope to be able to perfect a Dubai chocolate bar recipe in time to be able to give them out as gifts during the winter holidays. This mold makes three bars in a size that I feel is suitable for gifting.
