I just love this. I can't wait to travel with it.These are more beautiful than the photos can show.What is in this set:The tea pot: This is a matte blue pot with what I assume is bamboo wrapped around the top. I can position this bamboo anywhere on the pot. It is removable. I like it because it keeps it from sliding from my hand. (no handle)The art is gold in color. It is well detailed. No messy spots or screw ups.Inside the tea pot is a filter. This is made out of ceramic. It is not as fine as a metal one but it does the job.Inside the pot and filter: There are 3 small cups. Each may hold a few tablespoons of tea.There is a soft cloth that cushions each of the cups so nothing is broken.There is a lid for the tea pot.There is a container to hold the tea leaves. It is big enough that it will hold a considerable amount of leaves. The container is the same color and design as the tea pot.The only thing I am not so crazy about this set is the lid for the tea leaf container. It feels like it is cork. It is covered with fabric. The fabric does not seem removable for washing. This said, the lid fits very well. I can turn the container over and it doesn't fall off.All of this is in the traveling case:This is a durable harder case. I wish I knew what the case was made out of to describe it better. It protects the tea set extremely well. There are two zippers making it easy to seal. The handle of the case is well secured to the case. Inside the case, there is plenty of room to add tea bags, sugar and creamer packets.5 stars:I absolutely LOVE this set. This is going to become my best friend while traveling and camping. It gives me a way to bring loose tea along with the perfect tea pot for brewing. No more forgetting my filter.

Lovely--ceramic, leather, & wood. Ceremonial quality. Protective foam could use cloth covering

I like almost everything about the set exceptionally well. The ceramic and floral design, the shape and weight, and function of this set is executed very well. The tensioned wood, pot pouring collar is an elegant and practical touch. The tea filtration holes are of an appropriate, versatile size for most different teas (see pic). The cups seem just a bit small for my liking, but not really any different from what one would expect to see in a set like this. The tea holder is nicely accented with the fabric covered lid and tassels. The case is lovely, and the ad states it is indeed real leather. Ceramic, wood, and leather in this combination for a tea set bring it to a ceremonial-worthy level for me. Due to the fine design which has been applied, these should be hand-washed. These are not to be put in a dishwasher. There is one aspect involving the molding inside the case which protects the set that I would have liked to have seen finished better. The top surface of the protective molding has a gray, simulated, fabric-looking lining on the surface, which is better than plain, white foam. However, when the set is removed, the bare, white foam is revealed underneath where the ceramic is being cradled (see pic). I feel like the foam should be covered all over with either a velvet, silk, or felt material to stay on par with the level of quality, craftmanship, and look that every other piece and aspect of this set so wonderfully demonstrates. In fact, I will probably apply this myself--the set is worthy of that.

Adorable, beautifully made tea pot and cup set

This tea pot and cup set in a compact carrying case is beautifully made and perfect for travel. The set comes with the tea pot, a lid (more on this below), a filter, and three small cups. There’s a satin-like stream of fabric that weaves between the pieces to protect them from scratching or chipping while in transit. The case is set up with padding so the pieces don’t move around, which makes the tea set safe for carrying around. I recommend that you pay attention to the order in which everything is stacked when you open the set since it is the only configuration that will fit into the space in the travel case. The only drawback to the set is that the lid is made of cork and wrapped in a fabric that seems to be glued to the cork. I pulled the fabric off of the lid so I could confirm the material the lid is made with. It seems that this will not be washable unless you want to peel the fabric off and then just wrap it around for storage, but peeling it off takes away some of the beauty of the set. Otherwise it is a very well-made tea set that is a great option for anyone who wants to travel with it or even for daily use of a set that comes with a nice storage case.
