I'm so happy with this scale that I am buying a second one so I can weigh my food at work at lunch. I lost 75 pounds and am looking to keep it off for good. I weigh, measure and record everything I eat to maintain my weight and my blood sugar levels. I'm a diabetic and food accountability is critical for my health and well-being.This scale weighs in multiple measurement units. I can make my salad and tare the scale after each ingredient. I use ounces for the vegetables and then I can tare and switch to milliliters for the dressing.It also uses the same batteries as my glucose meter which is also convenient as they are readily available and easily changed.My only complaint is that bowls aren't very stable on the criss-crossed base. But overall this is a minor inconvenience.

Exactly what I needed - compact with a longer shape, it fits in my jacket pocket.Works perfectly and once unfolded it's big enough for a full size plate.Great buy.I just hope it will stay reliable overtime, use and abuse.
This is a brilliant product! I am tracking my food choices and having a food scale is critical. I used this on a recent trip while at a DVC property, and used it every day when we cooked, and I even popped it in my purse once when we went to dinner. No on noticed that I weighed my food, lol, just put the bread plate on it, set to zero and then the food. I actually LOST a lb on vacation.
