Inexpensive but it works!
This little blender has been a Godsend for me. I’m currently in Mexico where I just had surgery. Apparently protein is not a priority here and so I’ve been making myself protein smoothies with this in my room and it’s worked very well. The blender itself is lightweight - I actually thought it felt cheap when I first unboxed it. Very “plasticy” - but it’s lightweight which made it easy to pack, and it withstood the trip in my luggage. It has 3 speeds apparently - I don’t yet fully understand which speed to use - I’ve used them all with success. Each day I’ve been tossing fruit into the blender along with my protein powder and milk or water and it makes a lovely smoothie! There is sufficient power to chop the fruit and leaves just enough pulp that the texture (for me) is perfect. It’s so simple to use with one press of the button, and it’s easy to clean as well. Price point is on par with quality of build which makes it a good value. If it breaks it’ll be easy to replace at this price, but to date it has been used and abused and is holding up quite well. I’m pleased with this purchase.

I wanted to like this more than I do
I hate always taking out our big blender to make an individual smoothy. The cleanup is the worst. I was excited when I saw this Aetherika portable rechargeable blender.The positives:- great size and fairly easy to clean.- Charges quickly- Blends quickly-portable and easy to useNegatives:- The lid is hard to close. I returned one version of this unit because I thought the lid was broken as it wouldn't lock shut. Turns out you have to really press down HARD to get it to lock. I'm a bid dude and was surprised by how much pressure it takes to lock it in place.- The extra lid isn't attached which isn't great for storage purposes.- The blade is small, but menacing looking. It works, but outside of rinsing, is not easy to clean.- the charger is on the bottom-You have to hold the blender diagonally when blending to get it to work.Conceptually this is a nice portable blender and it works! Functionally and design-wise improvements can be made.

Great Portable Blender with Minor Quirks
Initially when I received this product, it was touted as a juicer. It is now correctly advertised as a blender. It's great and I've already made a couple of smoothies using both fresh and frozen fruits. It handles most blending tasks well, though it does struggle a bit with thicker liquids. I added some eggnog to my first smoothie and it still blended my drink, just took a bit more effort.The blender is not loud at all, which is a nice feature for early morning smoothies. It's very easy to clean since both the top and bottom come off completely.I only have a couple of gripes with this product. The latch to close the lid is very finicky. It closes and stays closed, but it is difficult to get it latched properly. Also, the charging port location in the base kind of sucks. I guess it doesn't matter where it's located, but I'd prefer to have it standing upright while charging rather than on its side.Despite these minor issues, this is an excellent portable blender for making smoothies on the go. Perfect for the gym, travel, or just quick breakfast prep at home.

Not worth it just to be portable
Size is great, the fact that it is portable is great, however, it is poor quality. It doesn't run well unless the food is already soft and practically pre-blended, it keeps stopping before the designated time, and doesn't hold a charge. The only thing good about it is the size, but I could get a regular bottle that's bigger for the same price without the "blender" in it.

Difficult to latch lid closed makes this impractical
I got two of these blenders. On the first one, the lid did not latch closed at all. Obviously, the lid needs to be closed to prevent liquids from spilling from the container. The second one also had a faulty lid. Although I was able to close it with a hard slap on the lid. The blender took a while to charge with the included USB cable. Once the ingredients are blended, the blender must be turned upside down to remove the motor and blade. Better hope that the lid is securely latched! The motor is easily removed with a short twist, completely exposing the blades. I haven't cut myself yet, but the possibility is always a concern. Having the bottom completely open makes it easy to clean the cup.
