Not sure these were meant for spices, but it works.

This small travel spice kit looks/feels like it was maybe initially intended for something other than spices, but it does indeed work well for carrying a small amount of spices with you. I personally like to have extra of a couple types of pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder on hand for the annoyingly frequent times I run into underseasoned food. Each of the little bottles is subtly different from each of the others, and a couple have little knobs almost that I couldn't figure out the purpose for (the mismatch of the set and the strange knobs are part of what make me wonder about the original intent of the set). It holds powdered and flake spices, but unfortunately it is not tight enough for a liquid like vinegar or oil. It comes with a little scoop that you can use to dish out the spices as needed, and a funnel to assist in filling. The funnel has a relatively small neck and stopped up with red pepper flakes, but it handled black pepper/salt/onion powder just fine. It also comes with a set of papers to label the bottles. The little gold bottle has ridges on it that make it harder for the paper to stick, but it did fine on the rest. These bottles aren't big enough really to get you through an entire week long camping trip, but for a day trip or for a single meal with that relative that seems allergic to flavor? They'll do just fine.

Interesting little kit. Bottles hold a quarter teaspoon. Scoop is very cool

An interesting little set that raised my eyebrows a bit at first. They are quite small, holding about a measured quarter-teaspoon, and that alongside the jewel and skull adorned scoop made me wonder if they should be holding "spice" from Arrakis. No, no, not really . A quarter teaspoon is plenty for a single serving. I do tend to drag salt, garlic salt and smoked paprika around, as any two out of the three usually makes anything taste better. A quarter teaspoon of any is enough. However, the small bottle means the included funnel has a very small mouth, and whatever you are trying to pour into the container can't have any clumps. I tried to get powdered ginger in there, but it wouldn't go. I think if I had a toothpick handy it might have worked, but I didn't. So be aware of that. The scoop is extremely cool indeed, and the bottles fit neatly in the pouch (see pictures). It did come with labels, but they are a bit big for the tiny bottles. I likely won't use them, myself. There's a bottle brush, too, in case you don't want cumin in with the allspice. All told, exactly what it said it was.

Waste of Money and Downright Embarrassing

Do not recommend. This set is a complete joke. The containers are microscopic; you'd be lucky to get two meals for one person out of them before they're empty. They are utterly impractical for any real camping or travel. The biggest issue, however, is the design. This doesn't look like a spice kit; it looks like a set of drug paraphernalia trying to be incognito. The whole aesthetic, especially the tiny, fold-out "spoon," looks like it was ripped straight from a movie about 1980s cocaine use. I am so uncomfortable with how it looks that I will not be using it under any circumstances. Maybe I'll keep the funnel and cleaning brush but otherwise it's going directly in the trash.Save your money and buy a few small, normal-looking plastic containers instead. This product is a poorly conceived gimmick with impractical, tiny gadgets.

"spice" box

"camping spice jars" and "spice scoops." Three of the little "spice" jars have a twist opening mechanism that let's you dish out just a little bit at a time. The scoop is a fancy diamond studded skull design. So apt for "camping." Even comes with a set of label stickers so you don't confuse your "spices," which is strange because if they made it all colorless clear transparent glass or plastic there wouldn't be that problem. Unless you intend on using all containers for "spices" that look exactly the same, with the same color and texture.Anyway, one of these is a twist off with a key ring that will be good for daily pills (red). I have no idea how to repurpose the yellow one, which twists for very very very tiny specific dose of fine powder. One of the plastic lidded ones have a spoon attached to the top which is great for white pepper or msg, and the remaining two plastic caps has a super easy twist off cap for using just as tiny jars.Don't do drugs, kids.

Lightweight and Functional — Better for Fine Spices

This portable spice dispenser set looks a little cheap at first, but it’s more functional than expected. The sealing is good and it’s convenient for travel, camping, or tossing in a kitchen drawer. It works best with finely ground spices — coarse salt, big flakes, or leafy spices don’t flow as well. The little spoon attachment is actually pretty cool and makes scooping easier. Not the most premium look, but surprisingly useful and practical for the price.
