Made of stainless steel so it is sturdy. I honestly use it every day to drain my vegetables after boiling them. Fits a number of different size pans.
These are of decent quality. They can be difficult to use on larger pots because the weight of the pot makes it hard to hold them in place but I did manage to drain pasta from 12 qt pot without assistance or using a colander.
Limits the size pan u can use. Slippery and awkward. Quality is ok .Do not recommend
These work well on a variety of pan and pot sizes. I have arthritis, and trying to drain pans with a regular pot lid while keeping hold of the pan with one hand was becoming too difficult. These allow me to securely keep hold of the pan and drain it safely without risk of dropping it and splashing hot water or oil on myself. They're very easy to clean, and can go through the dishwasher without a problem.
I had a similar drainer which got left behind when we moved. This seems to work just as well. It fitsmy largest spaghetti pot perfectly, and no spaghetti slips through. Just be careful to use potholders!
