Yumrico potato ricerAt the two month mark, of ownership, I like this item. Has been designed correctly, for ease of use, by a person with average size hands .Has some weight, and so seems like a sturdilybuilt ricer. Is holding togetherHas been no problem to clean.Two months is not long for ownership of anything.To this point...I like it
Very pleased with the product size is right works well build quality is very good ease of cleaning ease of use is simple and has a good weight to it.
I was a little skeptical purchasing this potato ricer for the low price but I was not disappointed! I just made the bessssst mashed potatoes for dinner and it was soooo much quicker and less labor intensive than using the traditional potato masher. Just make sure to boil salted potatoes for a good while to save your hands. I didn’t fully read the description before I bought it and was pleasantly surprised to see that it also comes with an extremely sharp vegetable peeler too (ask me how sharp 🤕). With that being said, the price is great considering all of the products you get (masher, 3 discs for 3 different textures, and a veg peeler!) As Guga says “10/10 would highly recommend!”
Works as promised. I have used it on potatoes with the medium disk and for hardboiled eggs with the large disk (for egg salad). Easy to clean. Only minor complaint is that I have to be pretty careful about securing the disk when I reload. The disk has a tendency to stick to the potatoes and pull up on one side. Just have to make sure it is firmly reseated before reloading.
Very satisfied with the product. Like the many items to prep your food to your liking.
Bought this to make gnocchi. I tried different amounts of potato cubes and always had potato I needed to scrape into a bigger pile to push through. The disc would pull up when I lifted the handle to scrape potato up and add a few more cubes to rice. Wasn't much of a time saver, but the gnocchi turned out good.
Seem to work well only drawback was if you squeezed till the plunger meets the plate, the plate will rise with the plunger when you open it back up. Not a big deal pop it off and back into the small tub and it’s ready for the next squeeze.
