Amazing mashed potatoes. I hand mash. Never use a mixer. I saw cooking shows use this, and thought, why not try it? OH MY GOSH. Life changer. My perfect potatoes just became perfecter. I have nothing to compare this specific brand too, but it works REALLY well. Easy to use. Cleanse very easy. I wish I had bought one years ago. Don't hesitate. You need this and don't even know it.

Beautiful no-rust metal materials used to make weekly "riced potatoes".the design is not practical for daily use. I'm so disappointed.The potato ricer I own is 40 years old and, still works perfectly to make great potatoes. Home made gravy is also a great addition.My old one still works perfectly but I'd like a newer model so I have it for a backup. The design on my old one is perfect and works great as long as I am careful to operate it holding it deep inside the kitchen sink to prevent steaming hot potatoes squirting on my hands and arms burning me,The beautiful small red potatoes are fantastic! A friend suggested I save the riced skins and add them to the potatoes.Hot butter and/or gravy completes a great recipe of potatoes.It really makes these into the best potatoes ever, especially when I add the smushed skins back into the bowl as well. This is incredibly tasty with the simple ingredients of potatoes, salt and pepper and the "riced skins."My mom, grandma and I truly love this method of preparing great "riced potatoes." 😉It's a constant potato recipe that is enjoyed by all friends and family. 💋
Great for making mashed potatoes only using one potato.Any masher would work if you are making a tub of mashed potatoes. For small quantities this product is indispensable.
Just the quality and design was hoping for
I bought this to mash 15 pounds of cooked potatoes that I didn't feel like peeling. It works okay on the small potatoes. It's sort of like a garlic press that pushes the food through and leaves the skin behind. However, on bigger potatoes (that still fit comfortably in the hole) it is nearly impossible to push down without having huge hands. Because it has nothing to grip the bowl, you are left holding it in the air and trying to squeeze it with two hands. The holes on the side seem like a good idea until your potato pieces go flying onto the floor. This product would be improved greatly if there was a piece on it that gripped the bowl, similar to the Oxo ricers. We sent this back and will spend the extra money on the Oxo.
