Perfect for making gnocchi
Perfect for making gnocchi, it is pretty big, but still fairly easy to grip and squeeze. However, it might be more difficult if you have smaller, or weaker hands, but I'm sure you could prop it against something to help you to squeeze it. Very sturdy stainless steel, and works extremely well.

Excellent Heavy‑Duty Potato Ricer With Great Output — Fast, Consistent, and High Quality
Summary:A sturdy stainless‑steel potato ricer with strong leverage, multiple interchangeable discs, and excellent performance. Produces smooth, fluffy potatoes quickly and consistently. Cleaning could be easier, but overall a top‑tier kitchen tool.Details:I bought this potato ricer because my manual masher always left large chunks behind, no matter how carefully I worked through each potato. This tool is a massive upgrade. The stainless‑steel construction feels solid and built to last — not flimsy or bendable like lighter models. The long 12‑inch handle gives excellent leverage, so pressing down doesn’t strain your hands or wrists. Even after processing a large batch, I didn’t feel any fatigue.I was able to rice 20 large potatoes in under five minutes, which is something I could never achieve with a standard masher. The consistency is perfect — light, smooth, and lump‑free — which makes a noticeable improvement in recipes like mashed potatoes, gnocchi, and purées. Many reviewers praise its power and speed, and my experience was exactly the same. The set includes three interchangeable discs for fine, medium, and coarse textures. This is extremely helpful depending on what you’re making. The fine disc works beautifully for creamy mashed potatoes and baby food, while the medium and coarse discs are great for heartier purées or prepping ingredients like pumpkins, apples, carrots, yams, or cauliflower. It’s versatile, heavy duty, and does exactly what it promises — quickly and evenly. The only drawback is the cleaning process. Because each disc contains many small holes, it can take some effort to fully clean them out, especially if the potato starch starts to dry. One potential improvement could be a disc with an adjustable valve mechanism or larger, shape‑shifting openings to make cleaning faster without sacrificing texture.Still, for the quality, speed, and flexibility, this ricer is a fantastic kitchen tool for anyone who cooks frequently. What I liked• Durable stainless‑steel construction• Long ergonomic handle for effortless leverage• Three interchangeable discs for fine, medium, and coarse results• Produces smooth, fluffy potatoes very quickly• Great for large batches and multiple types of purées• Excellent for gnocchi, baby food, and vegetables• Feels heavy‑duty and built to lastWhat could be better• Cleaning the discs can be time‑consuming• An adjustable‑hole disc would make cleanup easier
