Good potato ricer even though the disk gets stuck every time

This is a really good potato ricer. I found that it was easy to assemble, simple to use, and straightforward to clean. The apparatus comes with three sizes of holes. I was able to finely rice potatoes through the smallest holes with ease. The main compartment fits about 1 1/2 quartered large russet potatoes at a time, maybe a bit more. It takes a bit of strength to press the potatoes through, but not more than you would need to mash them with a regular masher. I found it easy to add butter to the ricer along with the potatoes before ricing and there, getting a nice even coating of butter without needing to mix too much afterwards. The entire potato gets riced and it is extremely easy to scrap off all the bits that get stuck on the sides. Nothing gets wasted. It is easy to get at all the parts and books and crannies for cleaning without fuss.I did find it a bit annoying that the disc would get stuck to the press, and so I would have to pry it off and put it back in place every single time I squeezed potatoes through. Also, this only works with peeled potatoes. I have always been fine to eat the peels, so needing to peel the potatoes first is a bit of an extra step in the cooking process. That being said, my kids prefer it without peels, so I guess it works out for them.
