I use this to chop onions and make fries with it and its so easy to use. The different sizes are color coded so you know you are using the right set for the size you want. Easy to clean and very durable I've dropped it a couple times already and not a single Crack to he seen very strong plastic. If you are looking for something to make fries quickly this is it!
I was SUPER skeptical about these things cutting up potatoes for a crockpot meal, but boy was I pleasantly surprised. It worked perfectly and I look forward to when I get to use them again!! The individual pieces are kind of a pain to clean, but really, just take it apart and throw it in the dishwasher.
This is a really good product. I had issues when I first got it because it came with one of the blades already in the plastic bin and I was having troubles getting it out. After looking at the troubleshooting video, I figured out that you have to twist the top in order to get the blade out. I hope this helps someone. It also cut my potatoes perfectly like French fries.
My husband got this for me as I wanted to make more homemade food. It’s made of good plastic material. I have used it several times since getting it and nothing has broken on it. Love that it isn’t bulky and it gets the job done quickly. It is sharp so one has to be careful. Worth the money.
I really like this product in theory. In reality, one of the blades came rusted & another blade pusher wouldn’t attach properly to the ‘push’ handle. When I finally got it on… I couldn’t get it back off. I think for this product, I got what I paid for — a little too good to be true to get this product with this many attachments for such a low priceI actually never got to even see if it worked at all because it got stuck so quickly with my first attempt at making french fries. So,- bad build quality- rusty blades- small size- does not work with the attachments
This works well for dicing. However, I would have liked to use it for French fries but #1 the grid is too small and #2 I tried with a small potatoe & no amount of strength could force that potato thro so no French Fries for me! I was able to use the smaller wedge plate for potatoes, though, so I seasoned those up & cooked in the Air Fryer. Purhaps if it had a larger grid, I could have gotten the potatoes through for fries.
I love this! It's compact to store and cuts easily and cleanly IF you do NOT try to cut items that are too wide. Make sure onions, potatoes and other potentially wide veggies are cut in half before chopping so no edges touch the edge of the blade insert. (I noticed one negative video found it impossible to chop just because she tried to chop something that was too wide.) At age 78, I'm not particularly strong, and have no problem chopping with this ALL veggies and fruit that is the appropriate width. Quick empty (take off the blade, not the bottom) to re-load for next batch. Easy clean. Alert!! Before first use, make sure you note the sequence of the blades when you remove them from the case or you'll spend much to much time trying to figure out how they go back in for storage!!
