I review products for the Amazon Vine program and I received this product to review.This pottery apron with split leg design has two pockets. I'm not sure how useful the pockets will be for while sitting at a wheel because of their position, but are nice to have for small items. Several of the reviews of this item described as being "too large", but this plus size potter felt that it was just big enough and would love it if the apron ties were longer, so it could be wrapped around and tied in the front for me.The material is polyester and has a waterproof feel to it. The weight of the fabric is heavy. One has to be exceptionally careful of getting clay products in a washing machine so I will be handwashing this item when it needs it, outside with a hose, so it to not clog up my drains or my washing machine with clay. Once the clay is fully removed, it could then go into the washing machine, and I would likely hang dry this. The fabric appears durable and the sewing on it is well done.The price point was very reasonable. It is well designed for sitting at a pottery wheel and of course could also be used if you are working with clay on a table. I'm sure this could be used for gardening, painting, or other activities. where you have to have a good quality apron.I recommend this product. I'm deducting a star because I would love to see a larger size for those of us who are plus size. It is unique experience to live in a one-size-fits-all world when you are plus size. This is definitely workable for a plus size person, but not necessarily comfortable.

Total disappointment: Huge size and poor fabric quality
Honestly, this product was a disappointment, and I cannot recommend it. The first thing I noticed is that it is exaggeratedly big; the fit is "very, very big" and feels uncomfortable, not functional for working at all. Furthermore, what I received looks nothing like what is shown in the product photo; the image is misleading. To make matters worse, the fabric quality is very poor; it feels cheap and flimsy. It definitely does not meet expectations.

Love the Split Leg, Great Material
Super nice apron. It has a nice slick fabric which is good in some ways and not so much in others. It's good because things like clay won't stick but it also caused the ties to come untied unless you tie it in a knot. The neck is adjustable which is nice. I tightened mine all the way and it hits just right and keeps my shirt covered without slipping down. I have never used a split leg apron before and won't go back. The pockets are nicely placed and big enough to carry things like tools or rags. Excellent for sitting down with my grandson to do art or any of our messy projects. I am 5'6" and this was long on me. I did fold it up so the waist was where it needed to be but I end up doing this on all my aprons. It washed and dried great and didn't lose it's shine or smoothness. The seams were covered and I think it will be quite durable. I feel like this apron is a great value.

I wouldn't use it for pottery, but I would for crafting or gardening.
I ordered this apron for use at the pottery wheel; however, it will likely get a different use. The things that I like about this apron are that it has a split leg design. Normal aprons either don't cover my legs completely or it sags and makes it awkward. I also like that the neck strap is adjustable. I appreciate that it is khaki and can be used by men or women.There are some things that I would change about it. I do like that it includes two pockets, but they are at a location where I would feel like my tools, rag, phone, or anything else would fall out when I was sitting at the wheel. I feel the pockets are at a better location for standing so it may work better for freeform pottery. The material is very soft and the description states that it is premium polyester material, however, it feels similar to a windbreaker to me. I'm not sure how well this would wash in a washing machine, which is necessary when working with clay. It states that it is waterproof, but I fear putting it in the washing machine would ruin it and I definitely wouldn't put it in the dryer. While I don't like this for a pottery apron and will likely still use my denim apron for that, I will definitely use this one for gardening or crafting. Not sure I would use this near a heat source because the material feels like it would melt. Overall, it is a useful apron with split legs, I just wouldn't use it for pottery.

This apron is perfect for someone who does pottery but also can be used for painting or to use in the garden. I ordered this for my mom, she does ceramics and pottery and always wears an apron to protect her clothes from the materials. She has mentioned that some are uncomfortable on the neck as the adjustable strap does not hold in place and you need to re adjust constantly. Others are to narrow so if you are sitting down it does not provide enough coverage for your clothes as the bottom part just hangs in the middle of your legs. The design of this pottery apron is perfect, as it has a split leg that covers your legs while sitting down but it opens up and is still comfortable and does not ride up.The fabric is soft and lightweight polyester but has a property to keep clay or paste from sticking to it. It washes great and does not loose the softness and does not wrinkle. It has two side pockets, perfect to keep your phone or some pottery tools. The tie on the back is long so you also can tie it in the front if it is more comfortable for you. The width is great because it covers your body around not just the front, perfect to keep your clothes clean while you work, and the option of the adjustable neck is perfect for different heights and sizes.The price is great for the quality. My mom is extremely happy with this apron and has worn it daily. She even ordered one for her friend, so this is definitely a product that works!!!!
