Switched From Chemex
I like it a lot. Husband and I used a 10 cup Chemex for 28 years. After his death I didn’t need that capacity so researched and found this. It’s very nice and does the same job and coffee turns out superb. Quality product including a filter and cork attachment. I can still use my paper filters if I choose. Nice looking and would recommend.

Checks all the boxes
I was looking for a functional yet attractive coffee maker so that I could keep it out and not to have store it out of sight. The Kavako coffee maker looks even better in person than in the photos. The attractive leather sleeve is top quality and the color is perfect and would complement any kitchen decor. The glass/pyrex carafe is sturdy and easy to clean and the filter is the best I’ve used when comparing to any other pour over coffee filter I’ve used in the past. Finally, their customer service is superb! I had a small issue (my fault not theirs) and they couldn’t have been more accommodating or professional.I highly recommend the Kavako coffee maker. It checks all the boxes for form, function and fantastic customer service.

Finally, the flavor of a coffee house at home!
This is an honest, uncompensated, and a real human review.I purchased this Kavako Stainless Steel Pour Over Coffee Filter for my Chemex 8-cup Coffee Maker. I highly recommend purchasing this filter for anyone striving to craft the perfect cup of coffee like I am.Here are some pros and one con to help you decide.Pros:1. The design is very well made and sturdy.2. The rubber banding allows for ease of use against glass.3. Fine double mesh coupled with medium burr grind beans prevents the majority of silt from seeping through. Last picture shows the amount of silt left after finishing the entire carafe of coffee. Very impressive!4. Crafting a full-bodied, highly flavorful cup is much easier and faster.5. It’s a perfect fit for my Chemex.6. Clean up is “easier” since the band is removable.Cons:1. Cleaning a reusable mesh filter is always a challenge. I find it much easier if you allow the coffee to dry completely before emptying. Then, using a towel, wipe away the remaining grounds. If needed follow up with a rinse in hot water and lay on its side to dry completely.Enjoy!

Works great, looks great.
Glass is thick and solid. Able to take the heat. Overall good product.Wish the filter had less holes so the coffee sits longer. But, that’s a personal preference. The leather holder works, but can get hot at times… Likely a handle of some sort would be better.

Great pour over coffee pot at a fraction of the investment of others.
This is my standard method of brewing American style Drip coffee. I grind ~35-36 grams of beans and heat 22.5oz of water to 205F and slowly pour over. This gets me to the 4 cup line in the pot. This coffee pot, and from my understanding most drip coffee pots, use a 5oz cup measure for marking the cup measurements on the pot, for a total of 20oz of coffee.I've had 2 of these, only because the first one got cracked while washing it when it got knocked against my faucet. The filters have lasted. I do wish I knew where the second filter ended up as I have continued using the original one and the rubber ring around the circumference of the filter is worn out and has developed slits in it. Please keep in mind, I've had this for going on 5 years now.I am beyond happy with this purchase, and will likely buy a second down the line for entertaining. As someone mentioned, it is pretty small so if I wanted to make enough coffee for a dinner party I would definitely want to make two full pots. I also would want to invest in a faster burr grinder, as the one I have takes a long time to grind the 36 grams of beans, but the flavor makes it worth it.The instructions in the box have ratios for coffee, which is where I got my numbers up top, generally. You can tweak it to your liking. It's simple enough. It does take a bit of time, especially since it isn't auto-drip but it is definitely worth it. I can't go back to auto drip. Once the pot cools down I use a dot of dish soap (sacrilege, I know) and fill it with water and swirl it around to easily clean it. If need be, I use a bottle brush to really get in the corners.I'd highly recommend this to anyone looking to get into pour over coffee but who doesn't want to spend a fortune on coffee pots and doesn't want to waste paper and invest in paper filters. This system has worked just fine for me for all this time. Just make sure to get a good burr grinder, whether it's hand cranked or electric, and give yourself a medium coarse grind. Not so chunky that it looks like french press grind, but not so fine as the stuff you get in the can at the store. Somewhere in the middle is perfect.

Perfect Daily Coffee Filter – Sustainable and Easy to Clean!
I use this metal coffee filter every single day, and it’s been a total game-changer! It brews a great cup of coffee, is easy to clean, and is much more sustainable than using disposable paper filters. While I do have to replace it about once a year, it’s still a better long-term option in terms of cost and waste reduction. The mesh is fine enough to prevent most coffee grounds from getting through, and the design works well with my coffee maker. Cleaning is a breeze—just rinse and go! If you're looking for an eco-friendly, hassle-free alternative to paper filters, this is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

Great small coffee set.
This coffee maker set works out really good. Coffee comes out tasting great and stays good and hot in the container. I threw my old coffee maker away that contained plastics. Great product.
