Love it!
Saw this on 3 different YouTube cooking channels... they happened to use this model. They were all about cooking but watching each chef use this vacuum sealer made the process look easy. So I took a chance on it and sure enough it worked like a champ! I cut 16 ribeye steaks from a whole ribeye from Costco.... sealed them all... and I put double seals at each end of the bags for a little extra protection.I did register for the 5 year warranty. Hopefully I will never need it.I only used it one time and it was great! If I have any issues in the future I will for sure post back an edit.Nice machine... I like it!

Awesome value!
Don’t waste your money on the namebrand, this thing works amazing and is a great price! Super straightforward and easy to use, I love that it stores the roll of bags inside and has the built in cutter. Did an amazing job when we vacuum sealed some meat that was on sale around the holidays.

A Great Sealer
This Potane sealer is so much better than any Foodsaver I've owned, which is at least four. It is better built, more streamlined, has more suction power, and is quieter and quicker. Best of all, it will continuously seal and vac/seal without stopping to cool down. The Foodsaver stopped to cool after the first three seals then after every seal thereafter. Most annoying and time wasteful.The Potane comes with a five year warranty and 24/7 support.

Very efficient
This is a great pro food sealer. It's much quieter than the last brand I had. It vacuum pack and seal quickly. It's also small and compact but still hold a roll of plastic to make bags. I highly recommend it. It's also a good value.

I returned this after the seals failed on the packages
EDIT: I ended up and returned this because too many of the packages of meat I sealed, the seal failed.I purchased this unit after reading the reviews and hoping it would be a better machine than the Foodsaver brand. So far I really like it. I opened the box and immediately put it to work in packaging an entire case of sirloin tip cut into sizzlers. That's a lot of meat. 40 bags. Pros: The 5 year warranty was a big draw to me. Applianes both big and small are usually 90 day to a year so this was a big selling point for me. Hopefully, it won't be needed! Small foot print on my countertop. Nice looking. Quality feel. Bag roll storage and cutter is great. Easy, intuitive use with clear indicator lights telling you what is happening. The power cord is a nice length, not too short and not too long. It stores by wrapping around the storage hooks on the bottom/back of the unit. Cons: The bags that come with unit and the extra box I bought to go with it are thin and crinkley, not nearly as thick and durable feeling as Foodsaver bags. They really are awful. They have several wrinkles throughout the rolls that ruin the ability to seal the bags well. The suction on the machine doesn't seem to be as strong as I was hoping for being that this is the professional grade machine. I'm hoping that this is more due to the bag quality with the thinness and wrinkles than that the machine doesn't work as well. I will test this out with a different brand of bags to see if there is improvement in the vaccum quality. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase but a little concerned about the bag situation and subsequent seemingly weaker vacuum seal.

Excellent product, Fabulous Service!
In my many decades of purchasing items I have seldom found a company to be as helpful and dedicated to making sure my product was perfect in every way. Potane came with a 5 year warranty. I purchased it in June, 2023. At first it was wonderful and then it began getting lazy and the upper gasket started falling loose and would not vacuum the air out. I replaced it and it worked for awhile and then lower gasket kept coming out. I said words I did not know I knew. I kept trying to make both gaskets stay in and do their job. Finally just a week ago I emailed the company and to my surprise even though it was a week-end they sent me a nice reply, They asked for a picture of the open unit so they could see problem. They suggested I might try a drop of two of glue to hold it in place. I sent picture and they replied immediately that they could see the problem and would send me a brand new Potane same model to arrive within a few days. It did, and just in time for my birthday! Wahoo! I am proud to say that it works beautifully and expect it will continue to do so. What a great company to do business with. Great service and great product!
