the installation was very easy, the product is very nice to look at and it has a great magnet in the system that holds my very heavy knives without any slippage, you stick it and it stays put. great value in my opinion
4.5 stars. This is a great holder. The magnet is very strong, and the look is great. My only complaint is that the holes to hang the holder are not wide enough to allow you to drill into studs. You have to drill into the drywall and use the plastic studs and then drill in the screws. Not a deal breaker, but it would be a great upgrade. Also, this is the 24" holder (Large). A 26" or 28" would be nice, and it would address the drilling issues I mentioned above. Otherwise, highly recommend. You'll love it.
Strong magnet. Knives do not move once in place. Stable on the wall. Does not wabble. Looks great. Very happy
Things got a heck of a magnet in it -- holds a bunch of knives as well as some other stuff, even held up a cylindrical honing steel I keep around but never use (anyone else just have one of those for no reason?) -- highly recommend, easy to mount too - screws are EXACTLY 16 inches apart. Good ol simple freedom units so my non-handy mind can mount ez. Thanks
I really love the look of this knife holder and it does the job. The magnets are super, super strong. I would say the only drawback I have found so far is that I scratched it on the very first day while taking a serrated knife off of it. Other than that I love it. It holds a ton of knives and is so much nicer than a knife block that takes up room on the counter.
LOVE this - bought one years ago for another home. We moved and bought this to do the same job. Easy install and holds our knives beautifully - goldilocks zone in terms of holding capacity and release 👍
We ordered this knife holder because our knives were getting banged up in the drawer. We want them to stay sharp longer and we want them to last for as long as possible. We looked at magnetic holders for hours and this was the prettiest one we saw. The only problem we had was that this holder uses a screw mount. We didn't want to drill into our tile so we used some double-sided Gorilla tape to mount it. It worked perfectly as you can see in the pictures. This is truly the most beautiful knife holder, especially if you appreciate the awesomeness of walnut.
