Wow I'm happy I bought this to make my Miso soup. It is very sturdy and well made, the mesh is very fine and you will not get clumps at all ! it has a little 'hanger' on the underside to hang it on your pot so you can use it hands free. It works well with any size pot and you won't be sorry you bought it !
Haven’t used it yet for its intended purpose, but just for fun, put a small string of LED white lights balled up in it, and hung on my kitchen wall as a sort of nightlight/decorative item. Very cute!
Beautiful, sturdy wood and mesh basket. It's just big enough for miso muddling but not large enough to put fresh ramen noodles in for cooking. My biggest complaint is the metal cap at the base of the handle. It seems to be loose and clangs around when touched. It's a bit annoying but doesnt effect it's purpose and is easily fixed with some glue. It's not worth the effort to send it back in my opinion but I do wish it had arrived in good condition rather than me having to fix it before I even use it.
It feels bigger in the picture, but it is kind of small when you receive it, the quality is not bad, feel will last very long; if you want to use it to cook noodle or pasta, might want to try a bigger size, it will fit one portion, just fit
