very nice & shiny garlic press, roomy round chamber for the garlic, sturdy, comfort grip, it works!
This is a very good garlic press. It's really easy to use, it's self explanatory, basically you would put a garlic clove inside the round chamber and then press it through by applying pressure, squeezing down on the top handle until the garlic clove is pushed all the way through the holes. This eliminates having to finely chop opr finely grate garlic cloves for your sautee/ stir fry, or soups and stews, or dipping sauce, whatever it is you need fine grated or fine chopped garlic for. It's really easy to clean, just spray it with some dishwashing liquid hand soap like Dawn Power wash, and rinse it under the tap, and you're done. You can also throw it in the dishwasher which is what I like to do, easy peasy. As for comfort, it does have some padding on the handle for an easy comfortable grip. This thing is well made as far as garlic presses are concerned, I don't think it will break in half anytime soon. Just use common sense when using it like with anything else, don't overstuff the round chamber with many pieces of garlic clove, that sort of thing, and this should last close to forever. Five stars.
