Easy to use and aesthetically perfect

Being Japanese and being born and raised there aesthetics are as important as the quality and I have to say these chopsticks (ohashi) are wonderful. I appreciate the craftsmanship and the care that was put into creating the product. My husband who is not Japanese, didn't think he could use them properly but because of the surface having a touch of friction producing finish, he is not having any problems with it. It looks smooth and yet, there is texture to grip the most slippery foods. The ohashi has a fine narrow tips, the way the traditional Japanese ohashi do and I love that. It is also packaged in a giftable box and one would think you spent 3x of what it costs. I recommend and I plan to purchase additional boxes as gifts. Two thumbs up.
