I recently started using the Dreizehn Matcha Whisk Set, and it’s made my morning tea routine feel a lot more calming and intentional. The mottled green bowl is gorgeous — it looks handmade, with a slightly rustic feel that adds to the charm. The set includes everything you need to make a proper cup of matcha: the whisk, scoop, sifter, and even a little storage jar. It’s such a nice touch that everything matches and feels cohesive.The whisk performs well, especially for getting that light, frothy layer on top of the matcha. The sifter really helps prevent clumps, which makes the texture much smoother and creamier. The bowl fits comfortably in my hand, and the shape makes whisking easy without splashing everywhere. It’s also a great size for a single serving — enough space to mix well without being oversized.One thing I noticed, though, is that this set requires a bit of care. Since the whisk is bamboo and the bowl is ceramic, I hand-wash everything and make sure it dries completely to keep it in good shape. It’s not a hassle, but it does take a bit more attention than a simple mug or frother setup. Also, while the whisk makes a good foam, it’s not as tight or fine as some of the high-end Japanese whisks I’ve tried.Still, I’ve really enjoyed using this set. I love this set! I am a big fan of Japanese cuisine, drink, and culture, and I love being able to make Matcha at home. The whisk is really cool & looks handmade, as does the bamboo scoop. The ceramic bowl is a good size & weight, with a nice spout formed into it & a lovely light-green glaze that's smooth as glass. The whisk holder is also ceramic, and equally beautiful and well made. Even the strainer is exceptional quality with a nice weight to it! I honestly can't believe how affordable this is considering what all you get & how nice it all is.
