Made well and durable. Perfect thickness and bakes perfectly. Perfect size for traditional panettone. Great price
This size is not easy to find. I always had to use a smaller size, and cut the dough in half for two smaller loaves. Now I can make big ones to use as gifts. They are sturdy and well made.
I have not used them as I purchased them for Christmas, but that did not happen. I love the molds and I will be using them soon.
Loved the quality and it was just as described
The panettone baking papers seem to be really good quality — they held up nicely during baking and looked great. The panettone we made turned out delicious, and the papers gave them a professional touch. The only small issue was that the paper stuck a bit, so we lost a little bit of the dessert when peeling it off. It wasn’t a huge problem, but something to keep in mind. Overall, very happy and would use them again!
This is NOT a full-sized mold. A full-sized mold holds about one kg (1000g) of dough. This holds about 500g. Perfect because I want to gift several smaller loaves. These are slick inside, and perhaps you could skip buttering before putting the dough in. I wouldn’t risk it. Panettone is too much work to ruin near the end! Some molds have a corrugated surface on the sides. These do not. They are a sturdy paper. At no time did I fear the paper would tear. The bottom is sturdier than the sides, and doesn’t bend out of shape. The sides are soft, so don’t cram the loaves against each other when baking, or the loaves might distort each other.I would gladly purchase these again.
The sides are soft but doesn’t tear easily, yet easy to punch through using BBQ skewers for hanging upside down. It’s just the right material and it looks beautiful. The bottoms are lined with extra material for better support. I used about 250 g dough plus dried fruits for each mold and waited till they rose to 90% before baking. The results are amazing.
