It was in excellent condition!
It's not the most expensive one that you can buy, but I use it for water bath canning, and it comes with the rack in the bottom and it works great for what I need it for.
This is a basic, un-fancy stock pot, very lightweight stainless body but good aluminum cladding on the bottom, a vented glass lid, and just the size I wanted -- although notably smaller than advertised: 10 in. high by 9-3/4 in. wide (9-7/8 at the very top).Wash it thoroughly a couple of times to get the mfr residue off. I found that soapy water gets trapped under the knob on the lid (which can then drip down into the pot), and I had to use a screwdriver to loosen it enough to rinse it. I think the first point of failure will be the handles and/or their rivets, but I hope to get years of duty cycles out of it before then. Only multiple uses will tell, but I'm satisfied with it out of the box.
The pot works great for making jellies and other foods, wasn’t sure of the quality because of the lower price but quality was much better than expected!
Don’t buy this pot. I used it twice to stew chicken for chicken soup. I noticed after the second use that the bottom was oxidizing.
The pan is nice. But why would you stick a sticker on it like the one that was on it . It took half a day to remove it entirely. Why would you do that.
I don't think the other reviews accurately depict the frustration the stickers are. In this day and age there are appropriate sticker substrates and adhesives to prevent the frustration that is, removing these stickers.
