Large, accurate and well built commercial scale with three power options
I was surprised by the size of the box this scale came in, and a bit concerned since the outside of the box I received was a bit crushed, but I was relieved when I opened it to see that the scale had large styrofoam cushions surrounding it which prevented it from getting damaged.It was much larger and heavier than I imagined it would be and I was also surprised at how well constructed it is. I ordered it because my postal scale had become inaccurate over the years, and I needed a replacement for larger heavier items with a large surface to place packages on and this fits the bill perfectly.Because of its size it's meant for commercial rather than home use with its readings on each side, one for the seller and one for the customer, and I wish that it had more measuring units than just kilograms or pounds, but it can take items up to 66 pounds, and as little as 200 grams (about 7.05 ounces). There's no real indicator on the three position power switch on the bottom what each position is for, but I was able to discover that "-" was for the rechargeable battery inside, the middle position "o" was for off, and "=" was if you choose to run it off 4 AA batteries instead (not included). There is also an obvious AC red light on the front when the power cord is connected when charging the battery. There are two different light brightness options you can choose from, and the lights go off quickly after about 3 seconds if nothing is on the scale and a more reasonable 10 seconds if something is sitting on the scale which can be turned back on briefly by simply touching the top of the scale.The tray can be conveniently removed from the top if you need to move the scale. It also has many different memory options I'll never use, and a bubble on the left hand side to help you level the scale with the help of the four screw-in stands on the bottom. It seems to be very accurate as well matching my most accurate previously tested scales.The two pages of instructions aren't the greatest, but it's hard to knock off a star just for that since the scale is exceptional in so many other areas. Highly recommended.

Perfect for a small business

Perfect Scale for Home or Commercial Use
If you are looking for an easy to read, easy to use, and durable scale, this is the one for you! This scale has exceeded all of my expectations. The scale arrived well-protected and felt sturdy right out of the box. The scale can be powered in three different ways; that being plugged in, charging its battery or putting in 4AA batteries (which are not included). The LED screen makes it easy to read the numbers when in use, but will turn off if nothing is on the scale or after about 10 seconds of not being in use. The tray itself comes off easily which is handy for quick cleaning and being able to wrap it with saran wrap. This is a game changer for us because we like to portion out our ground beef before freezing it. We buy our meat in bulk and then portion out 1lb for each bag before freezing. This scale is bigger than a typical food scale since it is made for restaurants and grocery stores but I don’t think it takes up too much room in our cabinet. I have used this a handful of times now and have not seen any issues with battery life or accuracy with weighing items. 10/10 I would recommend this scale for home or commercial use.
