Impressive quality and price

This is an impressive saucepan. It looks attractive but it's also an excellent pan. Whether the ceramic coating will ever start to deteriorate, I have no idea. But if treated properly (heat not too high, don't scratch it when using it orwashing it) I imagine it will last a very long time.It's relatively heavy but not awkwardly so. It's very solidly made. AND -- this is great for lefthanders like me -- it has a spout on each side (which also act as vapor vents when you have the cover on. That's actually one of the reasons I bought it. (A pet peeve of lefthanded cooks is pans with spouts on one side -- always the side convenient for only righthanded people.)Not surprisingly, to save room the pan was shipped without the handle attached. What astonished me when unpacking the saucepan was: there was a full-sized philips screwdriver in the box (an excellent quality screwdriver, I might add) so that you could quickly and easily screw the handle onto the pan. I keep a couple of screwdrivers in a kitchen drawer, but I doubt that everybody does, so that is an amazing convenience. Also, the pan came in it's own sturdy cloth drawstring bag, which you can use for other things.Oh, and it wasn't expensive for what you get. I'm very happy with it. I made rice in it the first night I had it. It cooked beautifully, came out of the pan nicely, and the pan washed up with no effort at all.

Best non stick sauce pan!

A great sauce pan. The pan itself is to be hand wash only not meant to be washed in dishwasher in accordance to the manufacturer. I much preferred to have option on how it's wash but I will do what is required to maintain the pan. The lid on the other hand can be washed by either hand or in the dishwasher. Over all it's the bestnon stick sauce pan I have used in my longevity of my of culinary amateur history. Highly recommend that is if you don't mind hand washing the pan. I will buy again.

Great pan, don't try to cook rice in it

This is a really nice saucepan. It came very securely packaged. You put the handle on yourself with a pretty good screwdriver, included not the cheap allen wrenches that usually come with self-assembly stuff. One of the selling points for this pan is that it has pour spouts on each side. Sadly, the lid does not fully seal the contents when cooking, so cannot use it to make rice.

Unusually high value for the price. Nice cookware.

I buy a lot of cookware, for myself and as gifts. I don't generally get too excited about the products, but these are unusually nice for the price. The weight and thickness is above "cheap" grade and the nonstick coating appears to be top grade (time will tell). Some nice touches: The silicone rim on the glass cover, and the silicone handle. Luxury look and feel. The sizes of the saucepans is perfect, 1.5 and 2.5 quarts in the set for a very reasonable price. But my favorite "extra" on this product:The maker packs the cookware in a slightly smaller than usual box and lets you put on the handle. They make it delightfully easy to do with the way the handle is presented, and screws on ... and every box has a genuine decent screwdriver to tighten the screw. Not one of those fifty cent throwaway "screwdrivers" but a real decent soft-grip screwdriver that you will keep and use in your tool drawer. That's an extra cost for the maker of this product and it highlights the extra care they put into the product throughout. The smaller box means less cardboard and a smaller shipping burden too. All very high class for this modestly priced cookware, good job! Definitely recommended.
