So thoughtful! The details make all the difference

What an unexpected little gem! I am starting to enjoy bread baking and I hate parchment paper, so I thought I would try a silicone bread sling for my Dutch oven. I chose the Superbaking because i love their banneton proofing basket and boy did I choose well!!! It comes into a super cute package so I instantly put it on my mental list of gifts for the other bakers in my life. It's just the right size (see the pictures). In fact let me add pics at the beginning, middle and end of my bake - OMG THAT CRUST! It worked really well for me!The quality is really premium, because the silicone is thicker than I expected and even reinforced with fiber glass. I bake my bread a little hotter, I went for 250C (500F) on this bake, and my bread lifter held up perfectly, no smell, no deformation.It worked perfectly (look at the bottom of my bread). I saw other reviews that didn't achieve good bottom crust but that's their fault, they put a trivet under the sling for isolation. Not needed with this sling! Just drop it in the naked Dutch oven with your dough and it works! Super easy!Cleaning? What cleaning? It comes out clean :D Wipe it with a towel, roll it tight, SNAP the fun band and store away easily. In fact I wish it had 2 bands, I wanted to keep one as anti stress toy :D

The silicone bread slings are a great invention. No more burned fingers trying to get that hot loaf of Sourdough out of the baking vessel. I put the slings in the dishwasher so easy clean and they are ready for the next bake. I was quite happy with the price and very happy with how well they work.
