The photos really don’t do these gorgeous steak knives any justice. They are polished, super sharp and very ergonomically friendly to handle. They also look great with your finest silverware. One poster mentioned that they bought these for customers to use at their restaurant. I can certainly see why, they are almost too nice for restaurant usage. I will never place these in the dishwasher because I want to preserve the exquisite wood finish on the handles. Great value, heavy duty stainless steel and high quality workmanship.

Good looking and sturdy

Purchased for a restaurant. They look good and they take a beating. They are washed in a commercial dishwasher so the handles have lost their shine but the knives still look good. No signs of rust on the blades so it's safe to assume they are the grade of stainless steel in the description.Only fault is that out of 3 sets purchased I have received several knives with loose tangs. When the handle is squeezed together with minimal force it does seem to remedy the problem with little effort and none have come loose since. That being said I was annoyed when some had an initial rattle out of the box. Overall I will purchase again and am satisfied with the quality for the price.
