Easy to use and appears to be accurate, we've never had any issues with meats being over or under cooked. The quality of the product itself seems good, we've had no issues with using the thermometer. It's also very easy to use and read.
In my opinion, this thermometer works great for grilling or cooking, especially when I need a fast reading. It shows the temperature almost instantly, and I like that the common meat temps are printed right on the handle for quick reference. The backlight does turn off a bit fast when using it at night, but rotating it back and forth turns it right back on, which is a simple workaround. It feels sturdy, the screen is clear, and the built-in bottle opener is a nice extra. Overall, it’s quick, accurate, and makes cooking easier!
This is a convenient meat thermometer in a nice small size, but pulling the probe lose from the base is a little difficult. I used the flat portion of table knife to pop-release the probe from the base clips because otherwise I was a little concerned the clip might break if using my fingers to force pull it lose. Overall, I'm not feeling confident on the durability. It did read the temp instantly but I felt like the temp was way too high, giving me a false reading that my meat was done, when it wasn't. I compared it to another meat thermometer and the temp readings were way off with my other gauge being much lower. I went with my other thermometer and my meat was perfect. I haven't done this yet, but to test it further, next time I'll have to boil some water, then right when the water starts boiling (212 degrees Fahrenheit for my altitude) get a temp reading then. That way I'll know approximately how far off the reading actually is. It does have a bottle opener and corkscrew too, so there is added functionality beyond the thermometer that adds some value.
Good overall meat thermometer. It reads the internal temp fast and the reading matches my other thermometer. I like that it has an integrated bottle opener since I can never really find one when I need it. It's also magnetic, so you can just snap it to the side of the grill when not in use. It uses a standard CR2032 battery and seems to be well made. No issues so far with it.
This is a pretty accurate Meat Thermometer, though the value for the money isn't as great considering others out there for half the cost for the same features. Stylish meat thermometer, though can be very slippery to hold onto if your hands are wet. But the LED lit panel is nice, also can rotate the display without needing to adjust what your cooking just to see the display. Easy to turn on and off with simply extending the prop or putting away. Easy to clean, though the plastic housing isn't great.Overall, it does the job, but compared to others the value for the money isn't great considering you can get wireless higher end options near this price range.
Received this a short bit ago and upon taking it out of the package realize that I’ve been duped. This is not a thermometer I would have gotten if I had realized it was as poorly made as it is. I’m actually kind of angry that the price it’s listed for is $25. The most I would willingly pay for it is about $3 and even then I wouldn’t want to get it unless I HAD to have a $3 thermometer because it’s probably not going to last long and I already detest using it and I don’t want to contribute to excess consumption and waste.The thermometer does seem to work, but it really is terrible to hold onto and to use. It’s very, very low quality. Appallingly bad for the price. I’m really trying to drive that point home.My advice is to completely avoid this and get something else.
So aside from the metal probe, everything else is plastic, including the bottle opener, which still had a piece of discard plastic still attached to it. It seems to be accurate when detecting temperatures, but the picture is misleading and for the price this isn't acceptable quality. 2 stars because it technically does it's job
