Very soft, items placed on it settle into it, cuts easily with a rotary knife

I had been trying to get the big blue & yellow box store cork blotters for some time, then saw this thick foam mat material in my suggestions and thought, if it is decent thick padding it should help to sound & vibration proof under my NAS & 3d printers.So, dimensions, it claims 16 ft, likely is but I have not unrolled it to measure the length.However, I have peeled of about 6 feet and I can tell you width wise it is consistent 15.875 with a scruffy edge, not the full 16 inch. It's about 1/8 inch thick.As far as the material goes, it's a very soft closed cell foam, almost completely compressible. It is consistent, has a relaxed weave like pattern molded into it.Items placed on it, sit in place, partly due to the compression sinking into the softness, partly because it has that texture and it's rubber, so things want to grab it a little.On side is smoother than the other tho the smoother side is still not completely flat, so depending on which side you place face up helps to dictate exactly how non-slip it may be.Cutting it was a breeze, but I do not recommend using the supplied snap knife. It is terrible. It wobbles so badly I could not cut a straight line using a straight edge guide.Instead I cut this on my self healing mat and a t square for my straight edge cutting it in a single pass with my rotary knife."It was like buttah'It is behaving as I hoped, which now means printer recalibration time to account for the vibration reduction and sway dampening the mat should provide, the function I was looking for in adding this to my printer farm.As far as value goes, aside of the cruddy knife, the foam mat & the measuring tape they provided are fine and I feel worth it at the current cost. I think I got hosed when I grabbed it with it now sitting at a 33% reduction.

Really nice anti-roll mat liner for toolbox’s and other applications.

I work for one of the major industrial air compressor manufacturers, but have been a millwright/maintenance worker my whole career outside of the military. In every one of my jobs, no matter the employer, I use a rolling tool box to carry my tools around with me. Any maintenance/millwright/mechanic can tell you exactly where the tool he needs is, and any that I have met are like me when it comes to keeping my tools organized and where I want them. I love rolling toolbox setups, but the main complaint/issue with them is keeping the tools in there place in the drawer they are in, but this mat has made this so much easier. I have used many different brands of this type mat, and my results from them have varied, but I will say that I have probably had the best results out of this brand. I can roll my toolbox anywhere I need to go, and when I pull the drawers out the tools are in the exact place they were. This mat is such a good mat, that even my screw/nut drivers stay in place and a lot of time have the inscribed sizes still facing up. This mat is a dark black color and looks sharp in my opinion. Like most of all the other mats I have used, this mat material is soft but has a grip that is stronger than most others. The couple of times I have gotten something that transfers from the tool to the mat, a simple wipe down with a wet cloth cleans the mat up without issues. This mat functions perfectly for my toolbox, and I will definitely be buying some more to use in some other applications at home.
