I got this rice cooker to replace my old well-used Joyce Chen one after its lid broke and this was definitely the right choice! It works even better the the old one. It cooks perfect rice easily with no fuss at all. The large capacity and secure lid ensure that it never leaks or overflows in the microwave. It's also dishwasher safe so clean up is a breeze too. Love it!

I previously had the Pampered Chef version of this, and loved it! Unfortunately, I made the mistake of browning rice with a chunk of butter in the microwave. Didn’t know that this is a no no. It burned a small hole in the bottom where the butter melted. Since this particular size in the PC was so expensive, I decided to give this one a try. It works just as well, and at a much lower cost. Very happy!
