Bake bread nicely.

I like that this pan has a lid because it helps during the rising process. The lid does not stay on very well though, it slides off very easily. It seems to be a very well made pan, but I don’t like that there are holes in the bottom of the pan because I butter the top of my dough, and all the excess butter ran out into my oven. But it’s ok, it’s a great pan regardless and I know to watch out for those sneaky holes the next time. Just to be clear since the pan is non-stick I didn’t use oil on the dough in the pan, I only put it on top of my dough. The bread popped out just by tipping it.

Scratches easily

This Pullman loaf pan comes with a little spatula and basting brush. It's big enough to fit a one pound loaf of bread. It works well for making bread, but the coating comes off really easily. Unfortunately just the normal usage of sliding the lid on and off scratched the coating after the first use. I don't think this will hold up over time.

It’s so far been scratch resistant and rust resistant, as well as non stick with a tiny bit of oil applied to the inside before putting dough in. It comes with a mini spatula and mini pastry brush, both silicone. The pan has vent holes in the bottom to vent steam and has a sliding lid which creates a good seal while baking. I am very happy with this pan and I recommend it.
