Quality Pulp Strainer
I initially wanted to try this strainer out for straining nut milks, but unfortunately it is too open for that purpose. But this is marketed as a secondary pulp strainer for juicing, and it should be perfect for that.We use our juicers for making both lemon juice and orange or mandarin juices from our various fruit trees. And out juicer does have a built in strainer which catches a lot of the created pulp. But the folks who make these products know that not all users will want pulp-free juice. So they need to allow pulp to get through, and that's where secondary strainers come in.So for those who want less or no pulp but just smooth juice, a secondary strainer is used. And this one seems a really good compromise - not too fine which will cause back-up during juicing, but will catch a lot of the big stuff from getting through.Stainless construction and well made - should last a long time.

Good quality, but a little pricey
This is a very nice stainless steel strainer. It matches the dimensions in the description and has a good solid feel to it. The holes are drilled evenly so it seems the manufacturer took care to ensure high quality.I'm using this to strain alcohol infusions. Think botanicals for gin and citrus zest for vodka. I just used this yesterday to strain some grapefruit zest from vodka. It's large diameter makes it very easy to transfer the liquid and the holes are small enough to catch all the small particles yet large enough to not let the straining get stuck. The wide flanges kept it solidly in the receptacle. My only gripe would be the cost. The price seems a bit steep given what this is. But that can be overlooked as you'll never have to replace this. Buy quality, buy once. Buy cheap, buy again.

Stainless pulp strainer
This stainless steel pulp strainer is made with very consistently sized and spaced holes that allow for consistent filtration. The handle easily sits off to the side when not in use but it strong enough to lift the strainer plus the pulp without bending or coming loose. My only issue with it is that the metal used is very thin and takes dents even in careful handling - this will lead to metal fatigue and failure. Overall a good strainer but needs to be made of stronger stuff to last.

Works well, but metal is thinner than expected
This strainer does what it is supposed to do. It catches extra pulp and foam and gives a noticeably smoother pour, and the wide rim makes it easy to set on cups or pitchers for hands-free use. Flow rate is good and it does not clog easily, so for secondary straining of juice it performs well.My main concern is the thickness of the metal. The stainless steel is very thin and feels somewhat flimsy. Mine arrived with the top rim slightly wavy instead of perfectly flat, which suggests the material bends easily. It still functions, but it does not feel as durable as it could be. With thicker steel, this would be a much more robust product. If you handle it gently and mainly want a simple secondary pulp strainer, it works fine. Just be aware that the construction is lightweight, and long-term durability may be limited compared to heavier-gauge stainless strainers.

Excellent secondary pulp strainer for Nama J2!
This secondary pulp strainer works perfectly with my Nama J2 juicer and fits just like the original. It does an excellent job separating pulp, resulting in smooth, clean juice every time. I’ve used it multiple times now and haven’t had any issues at all. I primarily use it for my orange juice and it is smooth to drink. One of my favorite things is how easy it is to clean—pulp rinses off quickly, and it doesn’t get stuck in the mesh, which saves a lot of time. The quality feels solid and well-made. I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely buy it again.

Pulp strainer for Nama j2 or almost any pulp
I got this pulp strainer to try with my nama NUT milk maker. It fits the milk jar perfectly as it is probably the exact same size as the nama juice jar. The nama nutmilk maker has a built in strainer but i wanted to try this to see if i can strain the already strained milk as it comes out the chute. As someone else said, i think this may not be great for the nut milk straining because the openings are not super small AND the strainer in the nama is super super fine... That all said this is a lovely stainless strainer that could be used as a strainer for juicing any citrus fruit and catching pits etc from hand squeezing so it's a great addition to the kitchen. It has a small handle and is easy to wash. I don't have the J2 cold press juicer but i also might try it to strain pulp from juice made in a regular blender and that should work nicely as well. Definitely recommend this if you are in need of a juice strainer and or a pit catcher from a hand squeezerRecommended

Versatile Pulp Strainer for Smoother Juice
This pulp strainer is a excellent for anyone looking to enjoy smoother juice. The wide rim design ensures compatibility with various pitcher sizes, making it very versatile. I don't own the Nama juicer, but setting this strainer on top of a pitcher works like a charm. The opening of the pitcher I used was 4.2" in diameter and this can go about an inch bigger. The deep cone and well-sized openings effectively remove most pulp, although very tiny particles still slip through. One notable feature is how quickly it works with the deep cone. You don't have to stand in front of it slowly feeding your juice in. It was also surprisingly easy to clean. A good value all around!
